The signed installation process increases security and trust, helping CANtrace meet modern security requirements.
The application now features a signed installation and uninstallation process, ensuring an integrity-verified and safer installation experience. Supported platforms have been reviewed to include only those that are relevant. Warning and information texts within the application have been revised to enhance informativeness and deliver additional user warnings. We have also reviewed and updated the supported Windows platforms.
CANtrace 4.4 also fixes an issue related to silent mode on certain Kvaser interfaces, ensuring more reliable and predictable behavior. Also, demo license handling has been improved, making it easier and smoother for new users to evaluate the software.
