IoEX Gateway – Bridging the Connectivity Gap

IoEX Gateway is a platform and independently operating system software, which allows it to be implemented on different platforms. Typically, you as a customer will have different kinds of requirements for your project. Our job is to tailor your needs together with the best-suited solution, provided on the most suitable platform. For example the embedded device, this can vary in size, cost, ports, processor performance, memory and storage.

IoEX Gateway’s plugin-based architecture allows development to support new communication protocols. For example, if a customer needs to connect from a vehicle backbone to the cloud, TKE can develop a downlink plug-in for the backbone’s specific communication protocol. This approach significantly reduces development time and complexity. Gateway supports a wide range of downlink and uplink plug-ins, including CANopen, Modbus, J1939 and others.

Implementation of Linux-based Owa5x IoT computer

The IoE gateway has been successfully implemented on various platforms, including the rugged Linux-based Owa5x IoT computer, which offers higher performance, more memory, more storage, and advanced features. These attributes make the Owa5x ideal for demanding applications in industries such as construction, cargo and material handling, agriculture and forestry, fleet management, mining, and electric vehicles.

Designing and Troubleshooting Embedded Systems

TK Engineering has in-depth knowledge of CAN based control systems. TK Engineering is involved in a wide range of embedded systems activities, as designing and debugging control systems and providing devices for embedded systems.

TKE specialises in advanced areas of embedded systems, including real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded system design methodologies and industry-specific applications. For example, the development of embedded systems involves hardware design (circuit design, PCB layout) and software development (coding, debugging).
