Introducing a rugged, next-generation field cannon maintenance optimization system designed to eliminate guesswork, streamline service scheduling and ensure operational readiness—even in the harshest conditions.
Our system automatically identifies and records the type of explosive charge used during each firing event. With five distinct charge classes, accurate tracking is essential for determining when maintenance is due. This system does it all—no manual logging, no missed data points.
This process is fast, accurate, and completely contactless — no extra hardware, no complex data entry.
A high-durability pressure sensor mounted on the recoil suppressor captures real-time firing data.
A main microcontroller, classifies the charge based on pressure data.
This classification is passed to a secondary microcontroller with built-in NFC, which generates a unique URL containing the firing data.
User simply scans the NFC tag with a smartphone, and the data is automatically sent to a custom cloud server for instant visualization and archiving.
Cloud-Connected for Actionable Insights
Once data hits the cloud, a customized server interprets the information and displays it in a user-friendly dashboard. This enables data-driven maintenance decisions, optimizing cannon performance and extending service life.
