Intelligent by Design
Our technology embeds sensing elements directly into the composite armor, using copper wires or other conductive materials as break sensors. These elements instantly detect structural damage through changes in conductivity, resistance, or capacitance. Piezoelectric materials can also be integrated to capture impact or stress events.
Integrated Electronics & Processing
The system features onboard electronics, allowing compatibility with a variety of sensor types. A built-in processor transforms raw sensor input (shock, pressure, heat, etc.) into actionable insights on armour integrity and surrounding conditions—ideal for military and other mission-critical applications.
Smart Connectivity, Anywhere
For wireless communication, NFC enables quick, energy-efficient maintenance checks, while ZigBee, Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE), and WiFi support broader, flexible data transfers. In high-demand environments requiring real-time updates, CANopen and J1939 wired protocols ensure secure, seamless integration with vehicle systems.
Flexible Power Strategy
Our power design offers energy harvesting during NFC scans, or a low-power embedded battery for long-life autonomy. In wired setups, power can be delivered through the data bus—ensuring consistent operation, even in harsh conditions.
