Telematics is the way to to take performance to the next level. Monitoring equipment performance with real-time communication combined with routing applications increases efficiency. Telematics helps maximize your fleet’s productivity, efficiency and overall performance.
Telematics and CAN Technology
With adaptive design and easy-integration with existing systems for various industries and customer-specific product design and application requirements.
IoE Gateway automating the operation of machinery, facilitating predictive maintenance,
improving traceability, harnessing the power of real-time data and analytics, and providing visibility across the entire value chain from field to administration.
Numerous machines and devices are equipped with measurement networks like CANopen, J1939, ISOBUS, Modbus, or other automation networks. These machines gather data such as engine hours, temperature, pressure, cumulative loads, alarms, and more. Our primary objective is to leverage the pre-existing sensor network to wirelessly transmit this data, enabling analysis, gaining insights, and facilitating informed decision-making.
Telematics helps maximize fleet productivity, efficiency and overall performance, e.g. remote maintenance, diagnostics, fleet management, condition monitoring, fleet KPIs (key performance indicators) or customized needs.
Telematics paves the way for taking performance to new heights. The following points underscore the possibilities unlocked by telematics. Real-time communication coupled with routing applications enables the monitoring of equipment performance, leading to heightened efficiency. Telematics is instrumental in maximizing fleet productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
The most effective method of reducing risks and enhancing road safety involves proactive maintenance, wherein potential faults or unforeseen incidents are reported in real-time. Appropriate actions stemming from such reports can mitigate accidents and minimize damage to vehicles and cargo. Even the smallest decisions become pivotal in determining overall success.
When a continuous connection is unfeasible or undesirable, the deployment of a robust Gateway empowers data timestamping, even over longer durations. With sufficient data collection and storage capacity, latency can extend up to two weeks. Furthermore, the TKE uplink boasts exceptional efficiency, enabling periodic updates within brief connection windows.
By leveraging the CAN-bus for information retrieval, the need for sensor installation is obviated. Upon integration, the Telematic Gateway filters data acquired from the bus and employs proprietary algorithms to verify timestamps. This proprietary algorithm mitigates issues stemming from offline scenarios, thus guaranteeing system performance, especially in time-critical control systems.
The system consistently gathers and transmits information while upholding data integrity. A multi-level authentication framework provides robust data security. Updating current information is a seamless process, manageable from a single point. This setup also allows local accessibility to database information. Retrieval of information from the database remains feasible even at later junctures.
